In yet another shocking incident, a man in Coonoor was attacked today by a bison and suffered grievous injuries.



The movement of bisons in tea estates and even in the heart of towns in the Nilgiris district has been on the rise. Rajendran alias Antony, a resident of Darlington Bridge was gored by a bison and flung into the air. Passers-by rushed him to the Coonoor Government Hospital where he is being treated for grievous injuries. Forest officials are investigating the incident.
