Coimbatore: In a move that would create doubts in the minds of people, Chinnathambi, the famous tusker from Coimbatore and currently at Varagaliyar in Anamalai Tiger Reserve (ATR) is said to be put inside the kraal again.
The tusker who was taken out of the wooden cage after 132 days last week, which gave an idea that the training was over, was again put inside the kraal, say sources.
Explaining the move, foresters have claimed that the training process was not completely over and it would continue for a longer time.
“Taking him out is just a part of the process and we would continue to bring him out and put him back in to train him thoroughly. He is in good condition and is responding to the training given,” said an official from Topslip.
The official further added that such training would help fill in the niches in the process.
