Coimbatore: After a gap of Three years CCMC Commissioner Sravan Kumar kick started the Grievance Day Program (GDP) at CCMC office today in Town Hall.
Addressing the CCMC staff, Commissioner said, “we are starting this Greivance Day Program again after a gap of Three years because the public felt a need to come in person and present their grievance which according to them will get addressed asap. Complaints that can be addressed immediately has to be done in a day. We will try our best to address the issues but never give a negative reply that a particular issue cannot be addressed. Complaints which do not concern your own departments have to be directed to the concerned departments.”
Speaking to SimpliCity, Commissioner said “This GDP is being conducted today after a gap of Three years under the guidance of Rural Development Minister S P Velumani. Public can reach us every Wednesday morning with their complaints which will be addressed as soon as possible. CCMC will know ground level problems only if public bring them to our notice. So we request the people to use this GDP and get their complaints addressed”.
Deputy Commissioner Prasanna Ramasamy and Heads of all departments in CCMC were present to receive the complaints from the public.
