Coimbatore: Natarajan and Leelavati own Dhanalakshmi Spindex. The bank account used for the transactions of the company was held with Tamilnadu Mercantile Bank.
While looking through their finances they were shocked to see that 6 crore rupees went missing in the account. Natarajan complained with the Crime department regarding the same and after investigations it was found that Accounts Officer Vinoth Kumar (a) and Manager Kannan (Tamilnadu Mercantile Bank) have misused the account and taken about 6 crores and transfered it to his wife's account. It was also found the higher officials including Manager Siva Subramaniyam and Siva Chandran had been a part of this forgery.

Police have arrested Kannan and Vivek and jailed after producing them in court. The police are in search of the other officials. Natarajan's relative Ramkumar said, "As the company had transactions involving crores of rupees, it took some time to spot that the money was missing. Vivek and Kannan had misused the facilities given to them, out of trust."
