Coimbatore : Justice P. Sakthivel of District Principal Court here on Wednesday granted three-day police custody for Vinoth Kumar and three others involved in the honour killing incident which claimed the lives of two people.

The police had requested five days custody of the prime accused Vinod Kumar (24) who killed his brother Kanagaraj (21) and his 16-year-old lover on June 25 at Mettupalayam in a brutal act of honour killing.
Following the Court's approval, the accused was taken into police investigation.
