Chennai : With rumours rife since yesterday about Esakki Subbaiah deciding to leave AMMK and that a formal announcement would be made soon, Esakki Subbaiah himself addressed the media today revealing that he will be joining ADMK on July 6.
"It saddens me to hear TTV Dhinakaran's latest mocking interview. That is not the appropriate behaviour for a leader. He is in distress and is panicking. We joined the party seeing MGR and Jayalalithaa. TTV himself was identified by the followers. I am going to join ADMK on July 6, along with 20,000 supporters. CM Palanisamy has been for the people and hence my followers and I will go Amma's way," announced Esakki Subbaiah.
He also reiterated that if he was selfish, he could have joined the party at the Centre, BJP but that he was not. It is to be noted that the AMMK headquarters is built on Esakki Subbaiah's land.
