Coimbatore : As part of the Grievances Day at the Collectorate today, 415 grievance petitions were handed over by the public to the District Collector, K Rajamani on issues like new ration cards, patta, encroachment issues and so on. They were directed to the appropriate officials for immediate action, thereon.

A relief fund to the tune of Rs. 92,000 by the Tamil Nadu Construction Workers Welfare Association was distributed by the Collector to the families of four deceased construction workers.
The District Revenue Officer Ramathurai Murugan, Tamil Nadu Rural Livelihood Mission (for women) Selvaraju, Assistant Commisioner of Labourer Welfare Venkateshan, Assistant Commisioner of Land Survey Dhavamani, District Distribution Officer Kumaresan, Social Welfare Department Deputy Administration Officer Amuthan and several other government officials were also present.
