Since the government had not measure their lands properly, the protesters allege that they were being threatened and chased away when they were trying to establish their settlements on their own lands.
Hence, the protestors staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate with their pots and pans, demanding immediate redressal of their issues. The District administration reassured the protesting villagers that immediate measures will be taken, after which they dispersed.
