The video of 'TN 38 N 1419' bus operating with only four wheels has disturbed both public and social activists who are awaiting on the Secretary of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation to revamp and rectify the manner in which the transport sector is currently operating.
1,075 buses belonging to the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, Coimbatore Division comprises of a fleet of buses plying within city limits, as well as the mofussil ones operating in Tirupur, Erode and Nilgiris areas. Public allege that the windows and even the steps of a few buses are broken, and that as a rule any bus should have two wheels on the front side and four wheels at the rear, with a total of six wheels. Passengers complained that buses violating these rules endanger public safety.

When the Simplicity News Team brought up the issue with the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Secretary, Dr. Radhakrishnan, he immediately ordered an inquiry with the Coimbatore Division authorities.
