Coimbatore : Following the complaint raised by the parents of the girl who was killed in a brutal act of honour killing incident in MTP, the Police have arrested three more for their alleged involvement in the murder.
Coimbatore : Following the complaint raised by the parents of the girl who was killed in a brutal act of honour killing incident in MTP, the Police have arrested three more for their alleged involvement in the murder.
The main accused Vinod Kumar (24) surrendered on June 26, a day after the incident at the Mettupalayam police station. The police have now arrested Kandavel, Iyyappan and Chinnaraj from MTP for their alleged involvement in the case.
On June 25, Kanagaraj (22) and his 16-year-old lover were hacked to death by his brother Vinod Kumar who was against their love, as the girl belonged to a scheduled caste. While Kanagaraj died on the spot, the girl was treated at Coimbatore GH where she succumbed to injuries on Friday, June 28.
