Tirupur: A 33-year-old woman from Tirupur allegedly committed suicide in her home on Friday, prior to which she sent a photo of her attempting suicide to the Physical educator of a school in which her kids are studying.

Narmadha Devi (33) has been living along with her kids in Pandiyan Nagar, Tirupur. Her husband, Prakash is said to be working in the army in Chennai.
A few days back, he had come down to visit his family for a vacation. In this scenario, today Narmadha Devi sent a WhatsApp picture of her with a rope around her neck to the Physical Education teacher in the school in which her children were studying.
She had also texted him to take care of her children after her death. Shocked by the photo, the physical education teacher rushed to her house and found her hanging and immediately informed the police.
With the help of the neighbours, they rushed her to a private hospital in Tirupur where she was declared brought dead.
The police filed a case and sent her body for post mortem examination to Tirupur Government Hospital.
The Police are investigating on why Narmadha Devi chose to inform the physical education teacher instead of her husband or family about her suicide.
