Nellai: A team of Cabinet Ministers including S P Velumani, the Minister for Municipal Administration and RDI, Kadambur Raju, the Minister for Information and Publicity, Dr. M Manikandan, the Minister for Information Technology, V M Rajalakshmi, the Minister for Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare and N Thalavai Sundaram, the Tamil Nadu Government’s Special Representative in New Delhi inspected the ongoing Drinking Water Improvement Projects in Ariyanayagipuram, Tirunelveli.

It is to be noted that the project estimation is about 23 crores and is being provided by the Tamil Nadu Urban Infrastructure Financial Services.

Harmandar Singh, Principal Secretary (Municipal Administration and Water Supply), D Karthikeyan, Commissioner of Municipal Administration, K Baskaran, Director of Rural Development and Panchayat Department, Palanisamy, Director of Panchayats, C N Maheshwaran, the Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Water and Drainage Board, Shipla Prabhakar Satish, the Tirunelveli District Collector, Assembly members and Government officials were also present at the inspection.
