To aid quick washing of the vegetables after harvest, a vegetable washing machine was being designed at the village.
Meanwhile, farmers complain that they are still unable to use the machine since it is not operational even though several months had gone by. "We travel 20 kms from our village just to wash the harvested vegetables," lamented the farmers. They urged the district administration to take immediate action to ensure the vegetable washer becomes operational for the benefit of farmers in the area.
