Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer, Sravan Kumar Jatavath conducted a field survey and inspection at urban health centres in the 15th ward at B K Pudur, to ascertain if adequate facilities for pregnant ladies were available.

Sravan Kumar also visited the 17th ward and inspected work at the Kavundampalayam dump yard to check on the process of turning biodegradable wastes into manure.
He also surveyed lawn work being done at the dump yard. He was accompanied by Prasanna Ramasamy, Deputy Commissioner of Coimbatore Corporation, Assistant Commissioner of Coimbatore Corporation (West Region) Senthil Kumar Ratnam, Urban Officer Santhosh Kumar and other officials.
