However, city folk who travel by train to Tirupur, Erode and other parts of Coimbatore, park their vehicles at the Collectorate causing congestion in the premises.
When the issue was brought to the notice of the District Collector, he instructed the Race Course Police to take immediate steps to ensure that no private vehicles are parked hereon inside the premises of the Collectorate.
