Coimbatore: The District Collector, K Rajamani has invited volunteers of NGOs and Corporate Heads for a discussion on the betterment of Coimbatore city, as well as to assure them of his continued support in helping them achieve their goals. This meet was organised by the Namma Covai Group with support of District Collector.
Coimbatore: The District Collector, K Rajamani has invited volunteers of NGOs and Corporate Heads for a discussion on the betterment of Coimbatore city, as well as to assure them of his continued support in helping them achieve their goals. This meet was organised by the Namma Covai Group with support of District Collector.
Apart from 120 volunteers of various organisations, there were 16 District Collectorate officers present to provide immediate solutions for issues raised by volunteers. The brainstorming session which went on for about four hours held the rapt attention of the District Collector who keenly listened to everyone gathered in the hall and assured them of his assistance, for each case brought forth.
"The District Collector's wit and humour kept the session lively, while his practical and humane approach to issues took us by surprise. He has won our love, affection and respect in this very first meeting. We are happy to find our patron at last. Needless to say, Coimbatore will improve during his tenure," exulted Raveendran Ramasamy, a volunteer present at the meeting.
