The recent hot weather that has gripped Coimbatore and surrounding districts in the past few days, the drizzle from morning in Ooty and Coonoor was welcomed with great cheer by the residents.
This caused water flooding in the roads and streams and the weather became increasingly cold.
The tourists who were annoyed to stay indoors because of the rain really enjoyed the pleasantly cold climate.
