Tirupur: The Village Administration Officer (VAO) apologised profusely to a protester who demonstrated in-house at the Village Administration Office in Tirupur for non-issuance of his father's death certificate, in spite of repeated visits to the VAO.

Sundaresan, a resident of Naranapuram, Palladam, Tirupur had approached the VAO office requesting to issue his father Balasubramanian's death certificate, for the past one month. Since the VAO did not issue his father's death certificate even after visiting the office several times in a month, Sundaresan staged an in-house protest at the VAO office.

Following this protest, VAO Muthulakshmi apologized to Sundaresan falling at his feet and promised to take immediate measures to issue the father's death certificate, after which Sundaresan withdrew his protest.
