Coimbatore : The Student Wing of DMK staged a protest in Tatabad, Coimbatore on various issues like the compulsory NEET exams for aspiring medical students, the three-language formula being proposed as a back door to impose Hindi in the State and the need for better vehicle facilities for students in rural areas.
Coimbatore : The Student Wing of DMK staged a protest in Tatabad, Coimbatore on various issues like the compulsory NEET exams for aspiring medical students, the three-language formula being proposed as a back door to impose Hindi in the State and the need for better vehicle facilities for students in rural areas.
The Head of DMK's District Student Wing, Manoj Kumar along with the DMK District Secretary, N Karthik led the protest. They raised slogans slamming both the Central and State Governments with regard to the proposed New Education Policy draft. "The Government has to stop NEET as it has already caused many deaths. If the Government fails to accept our demands, then these protests will continue," reiterated Manoj Kumar.
