Coimbatore: In support of the Chief Minister's Blood Donation Program, over 600 policemen from the Coimbatore Police Department are donating blood. Leading by example at the Camp were the Police Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner and other officials.

Under the CM's Blood Donation Program, various blood donation camps are being held across Tamil Nadu. Over 20,000 policemen are donating blood on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Police. In Coimbatore, over 600 policemen are currently donating blood at the special police station in Kovai Pudur. The camp was inaugurated by the Coimbatore Police Commissioner, Sumit Saran, the Chief Medical Officer of the Government Medical Hospital, Dr. Asokan and the Deputy Commissioner, L Balaji Saravanan.
