Over a thousand students are studying at the Nanjappa Boys Higher Secondary School in Tirupur. It is reported that a majority of the boys take bus from the Town Hall bus stand to reach the school. This morning, as usual when the students were waiting for the bus, students belonging to two gangs clashed with each other.
The fight picked up after they abused verbally and attacked using rubber tyres and wooden planks that were lying there. In the clash, Goutham, a class 11 student was reported to have sustained injuries and was rushed to government hospital for treatment. The police arrived to the spot and investigated the matter.
