3 lakh voters in Coimbatore did not receive booth slips but they can vote using their Voter's Identity Card since the booth slips have been made available at polling booths."
Responding to queries on faulty EVMs in Siddhapudur and Vellalore polling stations, Rajamani said, "There is no information about any fault in EVMs. 20 percent additional voting machines are available in all polling booths. Voting time will be extended if necessary. All voters who turn up at 6 pm in the evening too will be allowed to vote for timings will be extended until everyone has completed their voting process," he reiterated.
