Political leaders are allowed to campaign only for the by-election to be held in the four assembly constituencies (Aravakurichi, Thiruparankundram, Sulur, Ottapidaram) of Tamil Nadu on May 19.
The vote counting process for parliamentary elections and assembly by-elections is scheduled for May 23.
