Lamb's Rock which is situated 7 kms from Coonoor town is among the most sought-after destination among tourists, especially trekkers. The astounding view of the serene landscape attracts tourists, all through the year.
But the road leading to Lamb's Rock has been in a dilapidated state for a long time, and hence officials have commenced repair work. Due to this, the road has been temporarily closed for public.
"The repair works which include laying of new roads will be completed in a couple of days. As it is the summer season time, the repair work is underway on a war footing. However, tourist can use the road leading to Dolphin's nose," stated an official.
