Coimbatore: Nitin Gadkari, Central Minister for Road transport and Highways campaigned in the city to garner support for the BJP candidate C. P. Radhakrishnan.

“C. P. Radhakrishnan will be the best parliamentarian in the country. I request you to vote for him and give him a whopping majority. Through my department ₹7,50,000 crore has been alloted for roads in TamilNadu in the last five years.
Primary issue in TamilNadu is the water crisis and to solve this issue, water from Godavari will be brought to Krishna then to Pennar and finally to Cauvery by interlinking rivers. A detailed project report has already been devised which will be implemented very soon. I too come from a place which struggles hard for water. I can understand your problems.“ said the central minister.

“Politics for 21st Century will be the politics for growth and development. Unemployment and poverty will be the primary issues which need to be taken care of. Our Government has implemented Deen Dayal Upadhyaya scheme to help rural youth to attain self sufficiency through jobs.”

“C. P. Radhakrishnan has been a good friend of mine for the past 25 years. He will be the best parliamentarian in the country and represent your problems and solve them. I appeal to you to vote for him and all the members of NDA alliance and give them a thumping victory” emphasized Nitin Gadkari.
