Saravanan - Thiruparankundram
Shanmugam - Ottapidaram
Pongalur Palaniswamy for Sulur and Senthil Balaji for Aravakurichi were expected considering that DMK aims at reclaiming power in TN using the by-elections. Thus the strong candidature comes as no surprise.
