The Nilgiris: A 54-year-old policeman attached to the Intelligence Bureau reportedly died due to suspected cardiac arrest while on duty on Friday.
According to reports, A Ravi (54) hailing from Munnar, Kerala, the SI for Intelligence bureau of Coonoor division suddenly fainted and fell down during work.
Following this, he was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
He is survived by his wife Vijaya and daughter Pavithra.
The sudden death of a SI during duty has brought much grief among the police department.
