Coimbatore: The flying squad has seized Rs.41 lakhs in cash and 2 guns in Coimbatore.
A flying squad involved in vehicle checks in Saibaba Colony here, were checking a vehicle of Bank of Baroda and found Rs.41 lakhs in cash which was not accompanied by any appropriate documents. The amount was reportedly for filling the bank's ATMs.
Two guns without license and bullets were also seized from security guards, identified as Subramani and Thirugnanam.
Later, the cash was returned after the documents were submitted. The guns and bullets were handed over to the officials of the armed force.
