Addressing the media on various issues prevailing in the Nilgiris, he said, "There are lots of problems in the constituencies I visit. Vehicle parking in Ooty is a persistent problem for many years.
If I win, I will take necessary steps to ensure vehicles in Ooty are parked at the Race Course grounds. Tea leaves will be sold at a rate of Rs.30 per kg. I am well aware of people’s problems here. Hence, necessary steps will be taken to solve those problems,” he reiterated.
