The District Sessions Court Judge Vadamalai led the celebrations, along with the District Collector Innocent Divya and District Superintendent of Police Shanmuga Priya who were also present at the function.
Cases which are pending in court can now be brought to ‘Samarasa Maiyam’ where a solution could be reached with the participation of the lawyers from both sides. With the solution gained here, one cannot appeal further. Cases which are pending in court for more than three years can have a solution within 60 days, in ‘Samarasa Maiyam.’ Pamphlets on these were also issued to the public by the District Collectorate.
