Coimbatore: Owing to heavy traffic congestion in Aathupaalam after public captured a truck suspecting to have loaded with cash, ambulances have queued up along the Aathupalam - Ukkadam road.
DC, Balaji Saravanan has been making announcements requesting people to disperse from the spot and also permit the police to drive down the truck to the District Collectorate.. He has also promised that the truck would be opened in the presence of representatives from the media and public.
"Please disperse, do not push us to lathi charge", the DC warned.
The DC also noted that the officials from customs and flying squad will arrive to the District Collectorate and the truck will be opened, thereafter.
