Police were on the lookout for P Ravi alias Yamaha Ravi, an infamous drug peddler who was wanted by police for supplying narcotic drugs to college students and minors here.
Last month, based on a tip-off, police nabbed Ravi near Sundakamputhur while supplying drugs to college students and minors here. Ravi was remanded to Coimbatore Central Prison. Based on the recommendation of Coimbatore rural police, District Collector T.N Hariharan ordered to detain Ravi under Goondas Act today.
