Kabali mania spikes ticket prices


The Kabali fever is catching up globally. The film will be released tomorrow (Friday) country-wide. Initial reviews have already started flowing in from a private screening of the film that was held in the USA.

The theatres have showcased 'house full' boards for the whole of next week. Yet, the theatres have been thronged by the fans who are ready to pay thousands for a single ticket. The theatre owners are also taking advantage of the fan maniac situation and have been involved in selling tickets at astonishing prices. Fans have been alleging that the theatre owners have been selling parking tickets worth Rs. 15/- as movie tickets at Rs.100, reported by fans at Manis Theatre.

Manikandan, a fan filed a petition at the Collectorate to curb the distribution of black tickets around the city. Reports suggest that it is a mass entertainer with a lot of goosebumps along the storyline. The film is set to hit international markets with a bang and is being released in the US, UK, UAE, Australia, New Zealand and other key international markets on July 22nd.
