The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. P. Dharmalingam, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, who highlighted the critical importance of fire-safety awareness and preparedness in ensuring the safety of students and staff members.
The workshop was conducted by Dr. J. Goldwin Vijay Anand, Director – Training, and Prof. N. Kathirvel from Coimbatore Fire Safety College, Coimbatore.
