Coimbatore: The special initiative Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril (Coming to You in Your Village) will be conducted in Kinathukadavu taluk on July 23 and 24, following instructions from the Government Secretary, Revenue Administration and Disaster Management Department, Chennai, to reach out to people, listen to their grievances, and provide immediate solutions.
Under this scheme, the District Collector must stay in one taluk of the district every month, engage in field inspections, listen to the grievances of residents in that taluk, and ensure that all government welfare schemes and services reach the people without any obstacles.
In view of this, from 9:00 AM on July 23, 2026 to 9:00 AM on July 24, 2026, District Collector Pawan Kumar and district-level departmental heads will stay in Kinathukadavu taluk itself and conduct field inspections in all areas. The inspection aims to review government offices, listen to grievances of people met during the visit, and ensure that government welfare schemes and services reach people without hindrance.
Petitions will be received from the public by designated district departmental heads at all 35 village administrative offices, Revenue Inspector offices, and Kinathukadavu Taluk offices in Kinathukadavu taluk from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on July 23, 2026.
Officials assigned special duties for each village will receive petitions from the public in those respective village areas. Additionally, in the evening at the Kinathukadavu Block Development Office, District Collector Pawan Kumar will personally receive petitions from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, and people can avail this opportunity.
The Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril scheme will be implemented in 35 villages across the taluk, including 1 town panchayat and 34 village panchayats in Kinathukadavu. To benefit the public in these areas, all government departmental offices in Kinathukadavu taluk and places where public gather in large numbers have been instructed to widely publicize the Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril scheme.
