Over 500 Attend We the Leader Consultation Meeting

More than 500 members participated in a We the Leader consultation meeting near Periyanaickenpalayam in Coimbatore, where membership expansion, public outreach and organizational guidelines for the movement were discussed.

Coimbatore:

An indoor consultation meeting of the We the Leader movement was held at Goundampalayam near Periyanaickenpalayam in Coimbatore district, with more than 500 members from various parts of the Mettupalayam Assembly constituency participating in the event.



The meeting focused on membership enrolment drives and organizational guidelines for the Maaruvom Maatruvom movement launched by former Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai. Members and functionaries from Mettupalayam, Periyanaickenpalayam, Gudalur and surrounding areas attended the programme.



The meeting was chaired by Balaji Uthama Ramasamy, while former BJP District President Sangeetha presided over the event. Subash Chandra Bose welcomed the gathering.

Addressing the participants, Balaji Uthama Ramasamy urged members to intensify the membership enrolment campaign and strengthen the grassroots presence of the movement. He emphasized the importance of reaching out directly to the public and creating awareness about the movement’s objectives and vision.



He also advised members to avoid personal attacks on social media platforms and maintain a constructive approach in their public engagements. He stressed that the movement should not adopt an anti-BJP stance and instead focus on communicating its goals and activities to the people.

The speakers highlighted the need for disciplined organizational growth and encouraged volunteers to actively engage with the public to expand the movement’s reach across the region.

The meeting was attended by former BJP District Treasurer Prabhu, former office-bearer Shanthi, Praveen, Vijayakumar, Marisamy, LIC Balu, Gudalur Municipal Councillor Kalyanasundaram, Krubakaran, Veerapandi Suresh and several other functionaries.



Former zonal presidents Mahendran, Mahendraraj and Saravanakumar from Periyanaickenpalayam, Gudalur and Mettupalayam regions also participated in the meeting along with more than 500 members and supporters of the movement.
