Ward 1 Councillor Karpagam Rajasekar Conducts Inspection in Coimbatore Corporation

Ward 1 Councillor Karpagam Rajasekar inspected roads and drainage issues in various areas of Coimbatore Corporation on October 15, urging immediate action for repairs and water removal.


Coimbatore: Ward 1 Councillor Karpagam Rajasekar conducted an inspection of various areas within the Coimbatore Corporation limits on Tuesday (Oct. 15). The inspection focused on road conditions and waterlogging issues in areas affected by underground drainage work.



The councillor visited several localities including Sowmya Garden, Kavagaliyamman Kovil Street, SMT Nagar, and Appanaickenpalayam. Karpagam Rajasekar closely examined the roads that had been damaged during the underground drainage work and areas where rainwater had accumulated.



Following the inspection, the councillor urged contractors to immediately repair the damaged roads. Additionally, Karpagam Rajasekar emphasized the need for Coimbatore Corporation officials to take prompt action in removing the stagnant rainwater from affected areas.



The inspection highlights the local administration's efforts to address infrastructure concerns and improve living conditions for residents in Ward 1 of Coimbatore Corporation.
