Isha Mann Kaappom Hosts Agri Start-Up Festival in Coimbatore on August 15

On August 15, the Isha Mann Kaappom will conduct the Agri Start-Up Festival at Brindavan Auditorium, Chinniampalayam, Coimbatore, promoting organic farming and entrepreneurial opportunities in agriculture.


Coimbatore: The Isha Mann Kaappom is set to host the Agri Start-Up Festival on August 15 at the Brindavan Auditorium in Chinniampalayam, Coimbatore. This announcement was made during a press meeting held at the Coimbatore Press Club.



Muthukumar, the field coordinator for Isha Mann Kaappom, discussed the organization's commitment to advancing organic farming across Tamil Nadu. "We have been promoting organic agriculture statewide, providing training to enhance farmers' economic prospects. Agriculture constitutes 30 to 40 percent of our domestic production," he explained.

Further elaborating on the festival, he added, "The Isha Mann Kaappom is organizing this event to offer opportunities for young people, women, and farmers to start their businesses in the agricultural sector. The festival will also feature successful entrepreneurs who have prospered in agriculture, offering guidance and insights."



The event will focus on the practical aspects of launching agribusinesses, including branding strategies, packaging technologies, marketing, and effective use of social media. Experts will share valuable information and experiences, making it a significant learning opportunity for attendees.

Additionally, the festival will highlight government schemes available for agricultural start-ups, providing a comprehensive resource for potential and existing entrepreneurs.



Special guests include Gnanasambandam, Director of Administration and Chief Operating Officer at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, and several notable entrepreneurs such as Subathra of PVR Foods, S.K. Babu, and farmer Ponnarasi, who will share their insights and experiences, benefiting both farmers and the general public.
