Successful Conclusion of Free Athletic Training Camp at Government Arts College, Udumalpet

The free athletic training camp at Government Arts College, Udumalpet, concluded today with a certificate distribution ceremony. Organized by Tirupur Athletic Association, the camp offered intensive training from May 1.


Coimbatore: The Government Arts College, Udumalpet, in collaboration with the Tirupur Athletic Association, recently concluded their free athletic training camp. The camp, which began on May 1, offered specialized training to students from schools and colleges in and around the region. Today marked the camp's grand finale with a certificate distribution ceremony presided over by the college principal, SK Kalyani, and Tirupur Athletic Association officials, Chairman RBR Shanmugasundaram and Secretary Muthukumar.

Additional guests included the Vice Secretary of the Tirupur Athletic Association and founder of IWin Sports Club, Alagesan, along with technical team member Sivasakthi. Lions Club members Sekar and Radhakrishnan, as well as former students including Senthil of Avatar Cricket Club, also participated in the concluding event.



The camp saw overwhelming response, with more than 130 school and college students participating and receiving certificates.



Participants who had previously won in state-level athletic competitions were also honored during the ceremony. The camp was aimed at nurturing and recognizing young athletic talent and was supported by the Education Department of Udumalpet Government Arts College and the communal efforts of various local athletic enthusiasts and trainers.
