Coimbatore District Administration Urges the Differently-abled to Obtain National ID Cards

Coimbatore Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati calls for all differently-abled who haven't applied for or received their Unique Disability ID Card to do so immediately with necessary documents.


Coimbatore: In a recent announcement, Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati emphasized the importance of differently-abled residents obtaining their Unique Disability ID Card (UDID). He highlighted that those who have either not applied or not received their UDID must submit their applications at the earliest. The office is also accepting applications for new applicants.

The needed documents include a color copy of the Aadhaar card, a color passport-size photograph, and a color copy of the UDID. These documents are to be submitted to the District Differently-abled Welfare Office located at the District Collector’s Office in Coimbatore.

In situations where differently-abled individuals cannot present themselves, a family member can submit the aforementioned documents by June 30, 2024. For further information, enquiries can be made through the office contact number 0422- 2380382, as informed by the Collector.
