A woman, approximately 30 years old, caused a significant disturbance on Pollachi Road near Amravathi Roundana, Dharapuram, due to an ongoing family issue.


Coimbatore: A distressing scene unfolded in Dharapuram, Tirupur district, where a woman, caught in the throes of a family dispute, caused a major stir on Pollachi Road near Amravathi Roundana. Identified as Jothika, aged 25 from Thoothukudi, she stopped vehicles, directed traffic, and even saluted the drivers provocatively. This odd behavior was reportedly due to a marital discord.






Following her disruptive actions, she was detained by members of the Dharapuram All-Women Police Station with the assistance of patrolling officers. Earlier today, she arrived from Palani and commenced her unusual conduct at the Dharapuram bus station and near the Amravathi statue, entertaining the public for quite some time. The incident highlights the unpredictable ways in which personal disputes can spill over into public spaces.
