Theft at Coimbatore Photo Studio: Equipment Worth Rs. 1.7 Lakhs Stolen

In Coimbatore's Kuniyamuthur region, unidentified thieves broke into a photo studio on April 28, stealing computers, cameras, and other equipment worth Rs. 1.7 lakhs.


Coimbatore: On the morning of April 29, locals discovered the shutter lock of a photo studio in Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore, had been forcibly opened. The studio owner, Richardson, 29, was promptly informed and rushed to the site. Inside, he found that computers, cameras, a printer, hard disks, and Rs. 10,000 cash were missing, totaling a loss of about Rs. 1.7 lakhs.

Upon receiving the news, Richardson filed a police complaint. Subsequently, forensic experts and police officers collected fingerprints at the crime scene and registered a case. Currently, they are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify and apprehend the culprits.
