Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Invites Participation in Pongal Festival Celebrations

Commissioner M.A. Sivaguru Prabhakaran of Coimbatore City Corporation announces Pongal celebrations at the main office on 12.01.2024, inviting officials and staff to partake in the festivities.


Coimbatore: In a statement released today, M.A. Sivaguru Prabhakaran, Commissioner of Coimbatore City Corporation, has announced the celebration of the Pongal festival at the corporation's main office premises. Scheduled for 12.01.2024 at 9:30 AM, the event will be presided over by Coimbatore City Corporation Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar.



The festival will witness the participation of the Deputy Mayor, Zone Chairpersons, Standing Committee Chairpersons, Council Members, and corporation officials and staff. The Commissioner has extended an invitation to all to actively participate in the Pongal festival and the associated competitions organized in light of the celebration.
