Pongal Gift Package Distribution by Coimbatore District Planning Committee Member

Coimbatore District Planning Committee Member S.A. Kadar, along with other dignitaries, distributed Pongal gift packages in the 95th Ward of Coimbatore Municipal Corporation.


Coimbatore: In a significant community initiative, S.A. Kadar, a member of the Coimbatore District Planning Committee, distributed Pongal gift packages in the 95th Ward of the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation. The distribution took place at the fair price shops in Kurichi N.P. Itteri, Athupalam, and Pothanur.



Alongside Kadar, several local leaders and officials were present, including Ward Chairman Palanisamy, Treasurer Disco Amsa, Secretary Selvakumar, District Representative Shanawas, Ragam Abu, District Medical Team Leader Sakthivel, H.S. Kaja, Mannan Rauf, Youth Team Leader Akbar Babu, Peros, Mansoor, and Abdullah.

This gesture of distributing gift packages is part of the government's efforts to celebrate the harvest festival of Pongal, fostering community spirit and goodwill. The event was well-received by the locals, who appreciated the initiative and the involvement of the officials in the community's welfare.
