Government School and Temple at Mulanur Renovated and Handed Over to the Government

The government school and temple at Olapalayam, Mulanur, have been renovated and handed over to the government by Arumugam Trust and Anita Textiles Pvt Ltd, which the Minister Kayalvizhi expressed gratitude for.


Coimbatore: In a significant development in Mulanur, near Dharapuram, the Olapalayam Government School and the Kulamanicka Eswaran Temple have been renovated and handed over to the government. The ceremony was led by the District Collector, Christuraj.

The government school and the Arulmigu Kulamanicka Eswaran Temple in Olapalayam village, near Dharapuram in Tirupur district, were renovated as part of a community initiative. Arumugam Trust, in collaboration with Anita Textiles Private Limited, undertook the renovation work at an estimated cost of 35 lakh rupees.

The handover ceremony, presided over by the District Collector of Tirupur, Christuraj, was also attended by the Minister for Adi Dravidar Welfare, Kayalvizhi, and the Fourth Ward Chairman of Tirupur Municipality, Il. Padmanabhan, as special guests.



Minister Kayalvizhi, speaking at the event, emphasized the importance of private contributions to public welfare projects. She noted that it is not just the government's responsibility but also a joyous occasion when private entities like Anita Textiles contribute to such initiatives.



She expressed her gratitude on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister to the directors of Arumugam Trust and Anita Textiles Pvt Ltd for their exceptional work in renovating the school and temple. The event serves as an example of how private organizations can collaborate with the government to undertake public welfare projects.

The involvement of private entities in complementing government efforts for community development showcases a positive model for public-private partnerships.
