CDHA Organizes ‘Taste Of Coimbatore’ - A Mega Street Style Food Festival On January 5, 6 and 7, 2024

6th edition of Taste of Coimbatore – a grand street-style food festival set to be held from 5th to 7th January (5 pm to 10 pm), 2024 at CODISSIA Grounds.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore District Hoteliers Association (CDHA) is organizing the 6th edition of Taste of Coimbatore – a grand street-style food festival set to be held from 5th to 7thJanuary, 2024 at CODISSIA Grounds.

The Association held a press conference on Friday (29.12.23) to announce this food festival.



K.A.Ramasamy, President, CDHA said that the food festival will begin at 5 p.m. and close at 10.30 p.m. on all 3 days. Nearly 100 Coimbatore-based food brands are going to take part in this festival. 160 stalls will be opened at the venue from where people can relish veg and non-veg food items, chaats, cakes, sweets, savories, and ice-creams.

“Taste of Coimbatore will definitely satiate everyone’s appetite. In order to facilitate people the chance to enjoy various dishes served in different stalls, the portion of the items will be thoughtfully crafted. The pricing too would be nominal. We feel that this would definitely give the customers a complete experience,” Balachandar Raju, Secretary, CDHA said.



The festival also has some incredible entertainment for 3 days. Popular playback singers Swetha Mohan, Saindhavi, Sathyaprakash along with the talented Sridhar Sena, Anand Aravindakshan, Nithya Shree will perform. Several Tamil Cultural arts like Mayilaatam, Silambaatam, Paraiyattam, Poikaal Kudhirai, Karagaattam will also take place at the sidelines of the event.

David, Chairman, Taste of Coimbatore said that the price of the entry ticket is Rs. 249. Kids under 12 years of age can enter freely. The tickets could be bought at all leading restaurants in Coimbatore, and via ticketing apps like BookMyShow and PayTM Insider. The tickets can also be purchased at the venue on all days from 2 p.m. onwards.

Govindaraj, Treasurer, CDHA said that the festival will be inaugurated by Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Padi IAS, City Corporation Commissioner, Sivaguru Prabakaran IAS, Coimbatore City Police Commissioner Balakrishnan IPS and Milky Mist Dairy’s Founder Sathish Kumar in the presence of CDHA officials.
