Rs 10 crore for Udhayanidhi head issue: DMK workers beat up UP swami's picture with slippers in Coimbatore

DMK workers in Coimbatore burnt the effigy of Swami Paramahamsa Acharya, who had announced Rs 10 crore on Udhayanidhi Stalin's head, with slippers at Thudiyalur in Coimbatore.



Coimbatore: DMK activists burnt the effigy of swami Paramahamsa Acharya in protest against his death. They protested by putting down a picture of the swami and trampling it with their feet and beating them with slippers.

Bjp leaders, office-bearers and many others have come down heavily on Udhayanidhi Stalin for his remarks that sanatan should be abolished. Paramahamsa Acharya, a godman from Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, has announced that he will give Rs 10 crore to those who shave the head of Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin.

A video of minister Udhayanidhi Stalin tearing his photo with a sword and setting it on fire has gone viral on social media.

There has been strong opposition from the DMK to this.



Dmk's Coimbatore North district youth wing and Thudiyalur area association staged slogans near thudiyalur bus stand in Coimbatore against the swami paramahamsa acharya.



Following this, his effigy was set on fire.



Thudiyalur police then tried to stop the burning of the effigy.



The DMK also showed their protest by putting down a picture of the swami and trampling it with their feet and beating it with slippers.



District youth wing deputy organiser Suryan Thambi, area youth wing Nithiyarasu, district labour wing deputy organiser Ramasamy, district representative Sun Somasundaram, 2nd taluk secretary Shanmugam, 2nd taluk deputy secretary Tamilnidhi, youth wing functionaries Imran Khan, Subhash, Siva, Karthi, area club and taluk office-bearers Arumugam, Junaideen Pai, Aarusamy, Vetri Selvan, Zafar Ali, Selvan, Durairaj, Vasu, PalaniswamiA large number of people including Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam functionary Ravi were present.
