District Collector inspects special children's home and old age home

District Collector Kranthi Kumar visited the families for children's special children's home and St. Joseph's Home Old Age Home in Podanur area of Coimbatore and inspected them.


Coimbatore: District Collector Kranthi Kumar visited the families for children's special children's home and St. Joseph's Home Old Age Home in Podanur area of Coimbatore and inspected them.

Assistant Collector Ashiq Ali, District Social Welfare Officer Ambika, District Child Protection Officer Mathiazhagan, District Differently Abled Welfare Officer Jagadeesan and others participated in the inspection.

There are 24 girls and 19 boys in this special creche. The Collector visited the shelter home and enquired about food, basic amenities, the teaching methods and interacted with the children present there.



Following this, he inspected the St. Joseph's Home Old Age Home in Podanur and enquired about the facilities being provided to them.
