Coimbatore Sri Ramakrishna Hospital conducts 'Accident Protection' demo training

Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore conducted an annual accident prevention mock training programme near the main road of the RTO office on Saturday. A practical demonstration was given on the immediate rescue of the accident victims and proper treatment and monitoring.

Sri Ramakrishna Hospital conducted a mock training programme near the main road of the RTO office in Coimbatore. Sri Ramakrishna Hospital conducts this training every year as it will help employees and the general public cope with some unexpected accidents.

The RTO conducted an outdoor accident sampling exercise near the office main road. 21 passengers and 1 driver participated in the exercise.



The bus hit an electric pole to avoid hitting the two-wheeler. As part of an awareness programme organised by the medical team and service personnel, medical emergency attendants were also on standby.



Once an emergency occurred, a "Code Yellow" was declared in the hospital to indicate an external emergency. Five teams in the emergency code yellow rushed to the spot. 1. Site Recovery Team, 2.Internal Testing Team, 3.Garden Group, 4.Backup Team and 5.Patient Information Management Team.



Immediately after the emergence of an emergency, the site rescue team rushed to the patients first aid, and those in need of high-care treatment were given high-security treatment. The victims were later shifted to the emergency ward of the hospital. The patients were re-examined and relocated.



In total, 5 patients were in the red treatment high priority category. Four of them were transferred to the ICU and one was transferred to the surgical unit after completing a US scan.



The 8 infected persons were separated into the unit under yellow treatment and kept in custody. They were then shifted to the surgical unit for observation. The 2 infected persons were placed in the green ward safety check and then shifted to the inpatient unit.

All the four infected persons were released from the emergency situation after a routine check-up. 2 patients were safely placed in the black test unit. And the victims were shifted with the help of our garden team.

The rescue team members took care of the patients in their respective wards. This entire sample exercise was recorded. There were media.

The deputy commissioner of police for traffic was present on the occasion. Posters were released saying it was an awareness rehearsal exercise so that there was no panic or confusion among the public. This type of training was successful.

The purpose of this awareness rehearsal exercise is to help in reducing the activities of the procedures and the tension that occurs during a real emergency. Living beings and the environment without disturbing them. Safety is the primary goal of our hospital.
