Coimbatore: Anbil Mahesh, Minister of School Education, handed over recognition orders to 350 private schools in the districts of Coimbatore, Erode, Namakkal, The Nilgiris, and Tirupur.
There are 12,631 matriculation schools under the Directorate of Private Schools in Tamil Nadu. Matriculation Higher Secondary Schools, Self Financing High Schools, Self Financing Higher Secondary Schools, Kindergarten and Elementary Schools, Young Kindergartens and Board Schools other than The State Syllabus are functioning.
These private schools have to renew the accreditation once every three years.
Certificates of recognition are being updated zone by zone, and orders are being issued for the benefit of private schools functioning under the State Syllabus.
In the first phase, school education minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi presented recognition certificates to private schools in 10 districts including Trichy, Ariyalur, Dindigul, Karur, Pudukottai, Perambalur, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur and Thanjavur on April 30.

Following this, School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi granted recognition orders to 350 private schools in five districts including Coimbatore, Erode, Namakkal, The Nilgiris, and Tirupur at Avila Convent Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Coimbatore, Venkatesapuram, and Bhuvaneshwari Nagar.

Dr. S. Nagaraja Murugan, Director of Private Schools, gave the welcoming address, while Coimbatore District Collector Kranthikumar Pati and School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi also participated and handed over the recognition orders.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Anbil Mahesh said, stating that 350 private school administrators and principals from five districts had participated. The girls played beautiful band instruments, which I had never seen anywhere. They were given a good reception.
I have never seen anything like this in any school. On June 30, we issued this order to schools covering 10 districts in Trichy district.

22 - 23 Schools in which the accreditation order has been completed apply immediately.Above all, educational work takes precedence. Schools are responsible for transforming students into good citizens. It gives me great pleasure to issue orders to these schools.
While the government school is being upgraded, students in private schools are also our students, which is why we are focused on private schools.

Tamil language instruction should be provided at a private school. If they can't pay the fees, few schools misuse it and I won't agree with that. We are carrying out every project, and without it, all the schemes. This is how he said it.

Following that, the minister handed over the approval orders to the school principals.

Mayor Kalpana, Corporation Commissioner Prathap, MP Shanmuga Sundaram, Deputy Mayor Vetriselvan, DMK District Secretaries Na Karthik, Thondamuthur Ravi, Thalapathy Murugesan, Association of Private Matriculation Schools President Aarogya Thadayus, Joint Directors of the Directorate of Private Schools, District Education Officers (Private Schools), and representatives of private school associations were were present in large numbers.
